What is Justice that God Desires
Each week we will begin with a call to worship, brief scripture reading, and prayers based on the topic of the week. After a presentation and discussion, we will adjourn with prayer. Sessions will run from 7 pm to about 8:15 pm. We hope you will attend each week and we recognize that not everyone will be able to join each week so please join on the weeks you are able.
Week One February 24, 2021
What is Justice that God Desires
The first week we will lay the groundwork for the series by defining justice and looking at what God is calling us to do to create a more just community for everyone.

Week Two March 3, 2021
Justice for Clean Water
This week we will examine issues of justice for creation with an emphasis on clean water for everyone.
Worship will be led by Pastor Jerry and discussion will be led by Dr. Ryan Cumming from the ELCA and Tracey DePasquale of Lutheran Advocacy Ministry in Pennsylvania (LAMPa),
Week Three March 10, 2021
Justice of Religion
This week we will learn about the ways that we have treated others unjustly based upon their religious beliefs with an emphasis on our Jewish brothers and sisters.
Worship will be led by Pastor Suzanne and discussion will be led by Rabbi Rebecca Einstein Schorr writer, and formally the Rabbi at Lafayette College.
Week Four March 17, 2021
Economic Justice
This week we will explore how economic policies and decisions impact the community at large and look for ways to create a more just economy for all people.
Worship will be led by Pastor Jerry and the discussion will be led by Dr. Ryan Cumming from the ELCA.
Week Five March 24, 2021
Racial Justice
For our final week we will explore the ways that people are treated differently based solely on skin color and discuss strategies for us to facilitate a more just society for every single person.
Worship will be led by Pastor Suzanne and discussion will be led by Rev. Canon Dale Grandfield of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem.
