Welcome to

Blessed Trinity

Lutheran Church

Blessed Trinity Lutheran Church
Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

On February 5, 2023, the congregations of the United Proclamation of the Gospel (Light of Christ, St. Peter's and St. John's Windish) voted to form Blessed Trinity Lutheran Church and to sell their existing properties. We are now located at 2020 Worthington Ave., while we look for a new church home.

We are beginning a major revision of this website. Our new web address (URL) is https://www.BlessedTrinityBethlehem.org. Be patient as we undergo this transformation. During this process, some of the information here might be inaccurate.

Fond Farewell

On Sunday, October 1, please join the coffee hour fellowship committee after church in the fellowship hall to bid a fond farewell to Sandy Horwath as an integral member of the office staff of Blessed Trinity. After MANY years of keeping our community of faith organized and functioning well, Sandy will be spending more time on herself....well deserved!!

Hope to see you then!!

We have been invited to join Rosemont Lutheran Church, 1705 West Broad St Bethlehem, PA, 9:30 am on July 30. Please make every effort to attend and share in this special opportunity to meet our brothers and sisters at Rosemont and hear Pastor Jack preach. There will be no worship service at Blessed Trinity that day.

The Public Health Emergency enacted to combat COVID will expire at the end of the day on Thursday, May 11, 2023. In keeping with current recommendations the use of masks is now primarily one of personal choice & comfort.

If you are actively sick (i.e.: experiencing signs of a cold: stuffy, runny nose; cough) & you choose to attend a church function, please be considerate of others & wear a face mask to protect those around you.

July 11 Announcements

In response to the concerns raised at last week’s townhall meeting, Pastor Jack met with Pastor Dan, Pastor Huber and the Bishop this week. It was a very productive meeting resulting in the Synod’s support and offering their help with this process.

Blessed Trinity is now available as a recipient of Thrivent choice dollars.

Lehigh was contacted regarding our lease. The end date of May 15, 2024 is the latest we can be in the building. Unlike the other buildings, this one needs to be completely cleaned out. It is in our best interest to begin the clean-out process now. Please contact Nancy Kostas (nkostas@verizon.net, 610-865-7953) if you can volunteer for this task.
